Virtual Orientation
Baylor’s Orientation experiences are designed to introduce new first-year and transfer students—as well as their families and supporters—to life at Baylor. Completing an Orientation program is required for first-year students entering Baylor in the summer or fall terms, and strongly recommended for transfer students. Students are highly encouraged to attend an in-person Orientation + Baylor Line Camp Combined Session or Orientation-only Session. However, we recognize that special circumstances might make it especially difficult for some students to travel to Baylor's campus in the summer. For students who are not able to attend an in-person Orientation session in June or July, a Virtual Orientation experience will be available beginning mid-July.
Format of Virtual Orientation
Virtual Orientation is an asynchronous experience, which means that students and their guests can go through the program at their own convenience and pace. Content will be made available in an intuitive, easy-to-use online format that will allow you to revisit the information as often as you’d like.
If students are unable to attend in-person Orientation, they can opt for Virtual Orientation by choosing the “Register for Orientation & Baylor Line Camp” option on the New Student Task List. This virtual orientation provides essential information and resources to help new students transition smoothly into their college experience.
