Orientation Specialist
The Orientation Specialists serve as positive ambassadors for Baylor University to incoming Baylor students and their guests during Orientation. This unique leadership opportunity offers students the space to craft, imagine, plan, implement, and invest behind the scenes in during Orientation and will take on a significant leadership role within the program while working alongside the Associate Director for Orientation Programs.
The Orientation Specialist position is a unique opportunity that affords leaders the option to take a class over the summer, without the same time commitment as students who serve on our Student Leadership Team. The OS position is up to a 40 hour a week position. *Neither opportunity provides on-campus housing over the term of employment with NSP.
Full Time If a student does not have a need to take a course over the summer, they may be selected to serve in a full time (40 hour) student leader position. This leader will have significant responsibilities as it relates to New Student Orientation, Hospitality Crew, and fulfill needs in the Baylor Line Camp program.
Part Time If a student has a need to take an academic course over the summer or does not want to work full-time, they may be selected to serve in a part-time (20 hour) student leader position. A student selected to serve in this role will have significant responsibilities as it related to New Student Orientation. *Please note: If taking an academic course, you may have the option to receive permission to work more than 20 hours a week from Student Employment on a case by case basis.
